You APPsolutely need to download the FRINGE WORLD app! The app is your one-stop shop
where you can buy tickets, leave reviews, find venues near you and so much more.
Visiting from outside Australia?
Your app store Region will need to be set to Australia to download the FRINGE WORLD app.
Search Region setting updates for your device before switching to see if this is a suitable option for you.
Already downloaded the app? Stay up to date with the latest version releases!
We are constantly working to update the app with bug fixes and cool new functionality.
For your best festival experience please check you are running the most up to date app versions.

To check for upgrades, visit the app store on your device, search for the FRINGE WORLD app, and click “upgrade”.
Android users please note: you may need to clear your Play Store cache in order to see the latest version. To do this follow these steps:
1. Go to Settings
2. Scroll down and tap on Apps
3. In the Search bar, type – “Google Play Store” and tap on it
4. Tap on “Storage” and then tap on Clear Data option at the bottom of the page.
5. This will show pop up window giving you two options – Clear Cache and Clear Data
6. Tap on Clear Cache and then OK and you are done.
Plan your Fringe Binge
Ditch the spreadsheets and plan your Fringe Binge in the app!
Use Favourites to choose the shows you want to see and My Planner to add sessions so you don't miss a beat.
To save sessions to My Planner click 'Find shows' on the homepage, click on the show you like and select 'Add to Planner'. Repeat to add more shows to My Planner.
You can also add sessions to My Planner from an event page. To do this, find the performance date you wish to add and click the 'Select' button on the right of the event tile. Then, select 'Add to Planner'. Repeat to add more shows to My Planner.
Please note you may need to upgrade your app to the latest version 2024.1.36 to use these features.
If you've purchased tickets to a session it will be highlighted purple in My Planner (see above). Sessions highlighted in white are not yet purchased by you.
Find shows happening near you on the Map
Browse all the Fringe activity happening near you and see everything starting within the next two hours near your location.
The ‘near me now’ feature on the app makes it even easier to choose a spontaneous show. Simply tap the ‘near me now’ button on the homepage and you’ll see what’s on near you starting within the next 2 hours!
Looking for inspiration?
For a quick browse, use Search to browse shows and filter based on the time, location and genre you want.
For a really really specific search, click Find Shows on the Home screen and use the Filters to refine your search with accessibility, age suitability, Kleenheat Sizzle Factor, Price Type and more options.
Or use the Shake to Search and see what happens!
All your tickets in one place
Your e-tickets are stored in the app. Show your e-ticket to gain entry to the venue.
Access your next show e-ticket from the app Home screen or go to My Planner for all your Festival e-tickets.
